Bio

I’m a lifelong resident of Baytown, TX. The air “smells like money”; the Bay is in my backyard. The toxic air has given me an ever-growing list of chronic health conditions; the water took my house during Harvey. These experiences drive me to build a better tomorrow any way I can: engaging in local politics, fighting for environmental justice, and strengthening communities through mutual aid.

I graduated from the University of Houston in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. I have 10 years of experience in computer programming and web/software development. I am comfortable in C/C++/C#, Java, and Python, as well as plain JavaScript, React.js, and static site generators (primarily Astro). I am passionate about building lightweight fast-performing websites, designed mobile-first and accessibility-centered.

I am seeking a full-time position where I can apply my technical background to meet community needs and fight for environmental justice.

I learn fast, keep organized, and get things done. If there’s a tool your team uses, I can learn it. If there’s a tool your team needs, I can build it. If you have a role for me, don’t hesitate to reach out! (I am also open to contract roles, remote preferred.)

When I’m not building websites, working campaigns and elections, or organizing drives to meet community needs, I can be found watching Columbo, writing letters, or reading about the Gilded Age.
